  Developed a novel agent-based evolving network model, the Progression and Transmission of HIV (PATH 4.0), to facilitate simulation of transmission networks for low-prevalence diseases (such as HIV), for detecting clusters of recent, rapid epidemic growth and evaluating various intervention strategies. Worked in close collaboration with the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) to develop the first modeling tool available to inform HIV cluster detection and response under the U.S. ‘Ending the HIV Epidemic’ national strategic plan. Prepared and submitted the PATH 4.0 manuscript for publication in the Journal of Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering, March 3rd, 2021.
