      Helped oversee 30 person team that organized, promoted and ran events, workshops and volunteer trips. I was in charge of taking minutes, keeping track of attendance, organizing volunteer schedules and assisting in executive meetings. In three years, Generocksity raised $50,525 for various charities. Promoted philanthropy to students on campus and encouraged collaboration among student groups. I was also team caption for Generocksity in many events throughout the year, Storm the Wall, Day of the Longboat, Lace up for Kids and Diamond Ball, to help encourage participation in the community. Sold tickets for Generocksity events and helped promote the organization on campus.

      Peer Support Volunteer

      Peer Support volunteer on UBC campus and provided confidential, drop-in support sessions to assist students. I received training in support listening and suicide awareness, prevention and intervention. As a member of the workshop project team, I created, promoted and presented a Mental Health workshop to first year students living in residence. The workshop focused on peer support, active listening skills and self care.

      I worked with the Familial Pancreatic Cancer Program and completed data analysis using PancPRO software. I helped with data integrity for research projects. I presented our research poster at Canadian Cancer Research Conference 2017. Research is published in the international Journal of Clinical Oncology.

      Day Camp Counselor and Soccer Coach

      Coached soccer to children varying from 4years old to 15 years old because of this large age spread I has to be adaptable in order to modify lesson plans to be inclusive and suitable for each group. As a day camp counsellor, I was in charge of touring campers ages 8 to 12 years old around Vancouver. In both my roles as a soccer coach and day camp counsellor, I had to planned new and creative activities and lessons for each day.
