      As the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, my role was part of the start-up team that formed Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority in 2012/2013. This was a 'greenfields', start-up environment where I was responsible for the development and delivery of the Adelaide Oval People & Culture function. My role was integral to the design and delivery of HR end-to-end life cycle processes and creation of new policies, procedures, systems and ways of working. Once key functions were established, the core focus of my role was to provide HR business partnering to various operational and corporate departments. My role worked in partnership with the Executive Team, General Managers and Senior Managers to support the achievement of key business outcomes and milestones for Adelaide Oval's first few years of operation. Key achievements include implementing new HR systems, including recruitment and selection processes for large scale recruitment and on-boarding of casual staff ahead of Test cricket and AFL seasons. Other highlights included establishing traineeship and apprenticeship programs, overseas talent sponsorship, and the negotiation of two greenfields Enterprise Agreements. Show less

      In this role I was employed as a generalist HR consultant working under the SA Power Network’s new business division, Enerven. My role partnered with business managers and leaders to provide HR advice aligning to the strategic direction of SA Power Networks and Enerven. In my role at Enerven, I facilitated a significant change management project as part of the re-branding, organisational review and restructuring of Construction & Maintenance Services (CaMS) to form the new company Enerven. Following the successful completion of this initiative, my role moved to focus more on growth of the Powerline Services division of Enerven and talent acquisition strategy and attraction methods to facilitate transfers between interstate powerline workers. I also provided on-site HR consulting to the team at Olympic Dam and travelled within SA to various depot locations before joining the corporate team at SA Power Networks. Show less

      I was seconded to the Nova Systems International team to provide leadership to the People function, recruit and onboard new team members, and deliver on key engagement initiatives as part of the refreshed People Strategy. In this role I worked closely with the Senior Leadership Team in the UK to develop a suite of updated policies and improved employee benefits, that met the HR compliance requirements of various work locations in the UK, Ireland, Norway and Singapore. I presented a summary of this work, along with an overview of the new People Strategy at the annual employee conference in Brighton. This was a challenging but rewarding opportunity to gain further experience in an international HR leadership role. Show less
