      Developed and implemented a successul clinical research program for neurosurgery department with a primary focus on medical device studies. Developed a successful Movement Disorders clinical research program in coordination with neurology, physical & occupational therapies, social work and neuropsychiatry departments. Submitted and gained approval from FDA to conduct Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) study of Deep Brain Stimulation of the Subthalamic Nucleus for the Treatment of Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease. The program provided private practice clinicians in a community hospital setting with the opportunity to participate in both sponsor-and investgator-intitated trials. Show less
