      Investigated behavioral differences toward alcohol in specifically bred rates in the alcohol addiction neuroscience lab of Christopher Lapish, PhD.Performed light-dark box and delayed-discounting behavioral tests and determined behavioral differences between rats that were bred to be high-alcohol (HAP) versus low-alcohol preferring (LAP) and high (HLS) versus low locomotor sensitization (LLS) toward alcohol. Designed, implemented, and compiled the results from a course-based experiment with alab partner entitled "Anatomical developmental effects of ethanol and nicotine on zebrafish embryos" under the guidance of Swapnalee Sarmah, PhD.Determined that the anatomical differences were greatest for ethanol and nicotinecombined for the concentration combinations tested.
