  I was a rehearsal pianist, an ensemble pianist, a rehearsal conductor, and a concert conductorfor the Southern Hudson Valley Youth Symphony between September of 2013 andMay of 2014.The Southern Hudson Valley Youth Symphony consisted of students from Orange, Putnam,Rockland, and Westchester Counties. This full orchestra of strings, woodwinds, brass, andpercussion consisted of members who achieved scores of 94 out of 100 or higher for solosfrom level V and VI involving the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA).I was also responsible for successfully inviting undergraduate and graduate students from theManhattan School of Music and the Juilliard School of Music to join our members to performin a side-by-side-by-side program as a triple-joint-venture for our premiere spring concerton May 4th in 2014.I would like to thank Mr. Huadong Lu for allowing me to work with theSouthern Hudson Valley Youth Symphony.   I would like to thank Dr. Alex Fung of the Nanuet Union Free School District,Dr. Matthew Rotjan of the Scarsdale Union Free School District, andMr. Matthew Lucero of the New Rochelle Central School Districtfor allowing me to be the Executive Director of Rockland Youth Orchestra.The Rockland Youth Orchestra (RYO) is open to students in Rockland County, New York.RYO is a 501 (c) (3) Non Profit Organization as acknowledged by New York State, and a509 (a) (2) Public Charity as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.Since October 18th in 2017, Rockland Youth Orchestra featured a new Intermediate String Ensemble, known as RYO Appassionata, and our new Advanced String Ensemble, known as RYO Con Fuoco.Rehearsals took place at Highview Elementary School in the Nanuet Union Free School District from 7:00 pm from 8:30 pm on selected Wednesday evenings, with free pubic concerts at A.
