      • In three short years, I have gone from very little background in electricity, to someone that has been trusted to lead during storms and major outages. • I have created and implemented many designs to get power to new construction buildings in the Clarksville area. This involved the design work, planning ahead for future development in the area, coordination with line construction crews, contractors, building owners, communications providers, gas and water, warehouse, and accounting.• I have designed underground power routing for new subdivisions.• Lead major switching procedures to keep power flowing to all customers while some equipment needed to be taken out for maintenance. Involved coordination with TVA, CDE substation maintenance crews, contractors, dispatchers, engineers, and line crews.• Built an excel spreadsheet that would allow you to input information about a pole that you were designing, and it would do all necessary calculations according to NESC and loading districts. It would return an answer on how much guying was needed on the pole, and what strength of pole was needed. Many variables were included, such as type of construction, crossarm, vertical profile, height of pole, strength of pole, size of wire, tension of wire, span distances, angles of wire on the pole, etc. Show less
