Responsible for planning, budgeting, managing and reviewing all actions concerned with implementing a well-rounded short and long-range business management and information technology program. Responsible for the purchase, installation, maintenance and other life cycle management functions of all Information Technology and Communications resources within ACASR. Assets totaled about 1,500 computers, 120 servers and 24 Video Teleconference Centers (VTC).       PM Software Engineering and Integration - Transformed office from one primarily focused on the maintenance and improvement of a single (major) software application to one focused on enterprise software development. During my short tenure I implemented a project management culture to effect change and enhance the functions of this office to support the entire ACC enterprise across all of our applications. For our primary software application I reduced our backlog of requested changes and enhancements from two years to one year with a path to an even faster turnaround.IT Technical Lead Analyst - Assigned to join the special Army task force to perform an Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) to determine the course(s) of action needed to produce/develop the next generation enterprise Army Contract Writing Management System. Served at IT technical lead analyst for the team with a primary focus was on Business Process Improvement (BPI) toward future-proofing the system design against policy, technical advances and regulatory changes.Business Systems Manager, Unified Communications - worked to implement a platform to reach across our global enterprise. This included integrating our current email, fixed and mobile video, voice, instant messaging, social and data networks with additional capabilities to include:- wireless (Wi-Fi) campus- mobile (i.e. iPad) to fixed based Video Telecommunications (VTC)- enhanced collaboration capability, and - Voice Over IP (VOIP) Show less Developed the Enterprise Lifecycle Management (ELM) Program from a core concept into one that is a benchmark program for managing Information Technology (IT) assets. ELM is a large scale, multiyear, hardware and software technology refresh program that manages IT assets across a complex world-wide enterprise in a multisite and multi-domain environment. Program was developed using the ITIL framework. ELM had $2M in cost savings and $750K in cost avoidance in FY10.
