Carry out Power Protection Coordination study by ETAP and recommended solution for uncoordinated Protection settings with maintaining proper selectivity according to IEEE 242 CTI and sensitivity to properly protect equipment prior reaching to its damage I2t damage curves.Involved in voltage dip immunity study across SABIC sites and propose solutions, especially for Synchronous motor (best operating mode to create more timing margin away from out-of-step curve), VFD , MV and LV motors , etc.Conduct Technical study to reduce the ARC Flash Incident Energy for several switch-gears that have high Incident Energy values (all switchgears and MCC with more than 12 cal/cm2 were reduced to a safe arcing energy according to IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E).Leading several projects such as VFD upgrade, UPS installment, Excitation system upgrade, upgrade of obsoleted protection devices and number of expense DCRs. Maintenance Strategy development according to reliability centered maintenance methodology, probability of failure, degradation factors and failure consequences of safety, environment, health, reputation and production according to the risk matrix.Technical support of 230 kV power supply project to KEMYA and 230/115 kV GIS, 230 kV power supply project from SEC JBSW substation (Saudi Electricity Company) to KEMYA main substation.Switching transient study of 34.5 kV switchgear associated with frequency PT fuse failure due to ferro-resonance on the PT circuit. Recommend solution and simulation done to ensure effectiveness according to IEC standard.Engagement in EHSS committees such as PMT Safety, HAZOP and MOC and Administrator of OMS-315.10 Electrical SCD integrity program.Leading Emergency Diesel Generator Maintenance Strategy according to NFPA 110 to ensure emergency power and safe plant shutdown during power outage. 2021 Exxon Mobil Global Award for solving 34.5 kV ferro-resonance and PT circuit problems.Member of SABIC Electrical Protection Domain. Show less Involvement of major Electrical maintenance major planned activities and leading emergency troubleshooting of electrical failures.Three months experience in 2017 February-April Turn-around including but not limited to; Switch-gear testing and inspection, critical motors life assessment, cable testing, protection relay calibration, VFD retrofit, UPS overhaul and power circuit breaker testing from planning to execution.Creating several Electrical maintenance procedures and leading and being a member of annual procedures review committee.Leading and participating in several Reliability Methodologies; RCM, ACA and RCA.
