  Dr. Kriti Batra is Associate Professor of Physics at GGS Indraprastha University . She is PhD in Physics from Department of Physics and Astrophysics, Delhi University. She has teaching experience of 17 years and has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Her area of specialization is Molecular Modelling and Spectroscopy, DFT studies of Molecules, Atomic and Molecular clusters, Electronic Structure calculations, Linear and Non linear Optical Properties, Quantum Heterostructures, Effect of External fields on low dimension systems etc. (Theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physics). She has published research papers in International and National Journals of high repute and also presented papers in International and national conferences. She has been guiding research scholars in the field of electronic structure calculation and DFT studies of molecular systems using specialized packages like Gaussian, Gauss View etc., Also Guided M.Tech (Engineering Physics) dissertation since 2006. She has been part of many administrative and academic assignments in the University. She has completed 5 FRGS projects successfully under the University Research Grant Scheme. She is a life member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers, Vijanana Bharti (Vibha India) and Evaluator-National Anveshika Network of India..
