      Wood Group PSN is one of the world’s leading brownfield service providers to the oil and gas industry, operating in more than 35 countries with a global network of more than 29,000 employees and annual revenue of more than AUD$3 billion.Wood Group PSN provided expert personnel to the Santos GLNG Project, specifically to coach and monitor the EPC Contractor (Saipem Australia) during the construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the 420km natural gas transmission pipeline (GTP) between Fairview and Curtis Island in central Queensland.This was a contract FIFO role based out of Brisbane, and involved work on a 4/2 roster during pipeline construction and rehabilitation works, changing to a 2/2 roster during the pipeline maintenance works.Key Responsibilities - Field-based client representative for Santos GLNG.- Monitored EPC Contractor compliance against the project Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Environmental Authorities (EAs).- Implemented the project HSE Management System, Environmental Management Plan, and associated procedures.- Prepared daily environmental reports for Santos GLNG management regarding site environmental processes and the management measures implemented.- Liaised with the Santos GLNG construction team to monitor and investigate environmental matters, solve problems and implement the project compliance and management requirements.- Coached the EPC Contractor environmental team regarding the identification and management of environmental hazards and risks.- Monitored and managed environmental incidents and ensured that these were reported, investigated, and actions implemented to prevent recurrence.- Positively influenced the EPC Contractor to continually improve environmental performance, particularly with regard to environmental and regulatory compliance.
