Based on that experience (originally an 18 month contract), I was challenged to lead the organizational change (all training/communication/stakeholder management) for a multi-$Billon SAP (supply-chain) project as part of the newly implemented project management organization. We calculated over $3.5M saved through robust training and communication, and were also able to meet deliverables on-time (under budget). From then I was asked to lead a merger..., then a consolidating, then talent management, then downsizing (a division). Each project requiring a higher level of responsibility and organizational (and political) savvy.
