Responsible for short term loans under money market facilities when required and ensuring interest expense reduction by investing surplus funds as appropriate to meet future cashflow requirements. Communicating weekly CP updates and reporting to senior management. Responsible for the weekly trading strategy recommendations and execution following authorisation.Other duties involve the renewal of RCFs, increasing uncommitted lines, opening new bank accounts, monthly reporting of KRIs and creating the ALCO report. Creating a paperless front office environment and increasing a straight through processing environment, while continually improving reporting processes and managing procedures in line with changes. Opportunity to work abroad in our Dutch office in 2019 a couple of weeks every 3months to increase my knowledge of our assets, arranging loans to subsidiaries, as well as cross training my colleagues.
