  After two terms, I decided in 2015 not to run for reelection as a City Council Member for the City of Pacific, http://www.cityofpacific.com/, a small city in south King County and north Pierce County, Washington. My eight years on the Council saw the City through very troubled waters, culminating in a rare successful recall of an elected Mayor, but the City is now back on course, financially sound, and growing again.
