  There are "talkers" and there are "doers" . . . and it has been my experience that the talkers are often the more visible of the two. It is my job to ensure that as we, at the Saskatchewan Safety Council, go about the business of "doing" we are also visible to our partners, our members and the public. The Early Safety Training Program is a youth safety education strategy that is administered by the Saskatchewan Safety Council. Developed in response to the province's young worker injury statistics, the program is designed to assist youth in acquiring the skills and attitudes necessary to work and live safely while allowing them to have the flexibility in selecting safety training that would be beneficial, recognized and valuable to employers in their regional industries.
