My job centered on leading regional transmission planning activities in the Western Interconnection. WECC is the regional reliability organization for the western interconnection which encoumpases 14 western states, 2 Canadian provinces, and parts of Baja Mexico.

In this role I lead the sales and business development activities for Hitachi Energy and ABB Electrification Products in a five-state region of the Intermountain West. I also serve as the technical manager for EMS’ services division that applies Hitachi and ABB products for our industrial customer base. This includes specifying and designing energy delivery solutions, startup and technical direction during equipment installation, performing power quality studies, and programming power system relays and controls.
