  I worked as a staff sonographer in a busy city hospital in the Bronx. I performed abdominal, OB/GYN and Neurosonographic examinations. In addition I assisted with the amniocentesis by dating the fetus and locating an appropriate pocket of amniotic fluid. I taught sonographer students and residents the fundamentals of performing a sonographic examination and identification of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology..   I direct the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in three specialties, Abdominal, OB/GYN and Adult Echocardiography I directed the daily operations of the continuing education in diagnostic medical sonography program and the registry review program. I created the mailing data base and decreased mailing and production costs by 50%.I coordinated the clinical rotations (internships) of the 40 diagnostic medical sonography students. I also taught two courses a semester.
