  Certification Program Manger/Training Center Coordinator

  As the Certification Program Manager and Training Center Coordinator I am responsible for updating employee certifications and licenses as required by the appropriate agency, through the hospital's learning management system (LMS) Healthsteam for student and class management. This includes monthly reports of expired certifications required of personnel to managers and assisting employees in registering for appropriate and timely courses. As a member of the the Clinical Education Department, I help with logistics for classes, including: registration, payment, communication, classroom preparation, books and supplies. Additionally, I provide updates to our instructor base and external training locations. I am also an AHA BLS/Heartsaver Instructor and enjoy sharing the importance of knowing lifesaving skills not only within the hospital, but to the community/lay persons to increase chances of survival from cardiac arrest.
