  At AgSights, we served as Cybersecurity Consultants, focusing on enhancing the security posture of the bioLinks platform. We conducted comprehensive penetration tests, identifying critical vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, weak session cookies, exposed files, and brute force vulnerabilities. Using tools like WPScan, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and SQLmap, we assessed and exploited weaknesses in web applications, authentication mechanisms, and server configurations. Based on these findings, we implemented mitigations, including enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA), strong password policies, and securing administrative interfaces.We focused on evaluating and improving the security posture of the bioLinks platform by conducting a thorough review of their network infrastructure and identifying critical assets such as customer data, operational databases, and API integrations. Using this assessment, we recommended measures to safeguard these assets, including network segmentation, encryption, and access controls.We developed a cybersecurity framework tailored to AgSights' needs, aligning with NIST CSF 2.0. This framework prioritized key functions like Identify and Protect, establishing a foundation for risk mitigation and operational resilience. As part of this effort, we designed access control policies, suggested the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA), and provided recommendations for enhancing system configurations to secure sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.Additionally, we worked closely with stakeholders to build employee awareness programs, improve incident response capabilities, and ensure compliance with regulations such as PIPEDA and GDPR. Our efforts provided AgSights with a structured roadmap to strengthen their cybersecurity posture while supporting their organizational goals. Show less
