  Extended a C-language program within a parallel computing framework (Open MPI) to analyze superconductivity. This work enabled the simulation of complex superconducting behaviors, contributing to the development of materials with enhanced properties. Investigated the evolution of the superconducting critical temperature in Cu-doped TiSe2 using the QUANTUM ESPRESSO DFT package, reproducing the dome-like behavior of Tc for the first time, resulting in a peer-reviewed journal publication and multiple conference presentations. Findings could influence the design of advanced materials through chemical doping.

  Research:■ First-principles density functional theory (DFT) studies on quantum materials (electronic and magnetic properties): gaining insight by comparing numerical computation with experimental result.■ I simulate material properties using the Python program (Python packages include: Scipy, Numpy, Matplotlib, Pandas).■ I synthesize and characterize single crystal materials that possess interesting electronic, magnetic, and other exotic quantum material properties.■ Developed/Modified a Python program to calculate and fit crystal electric fieldHamiltonian to study magnetic ions. Fitting was done based on global optimizationof a least-square cost function. ■ Conducting an in-depth study of the electronic structure of small molecules for drug discovery with ML tools and advanced molecular structure calculations, complemented by molecular dynamics simulations.Teaching:■ Leading tutorials and conducting office hours (both online and in-person) to support students in mastering course content and completing assignments.■ Evaluating assignments and exams, offering customized feedback aligned with course objectives in subjects like Computational Physics in Python and Observational Astrophysics Analysis in Python.
