  As Treasurer of Aitken House, I managed the residence's financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and financial reporting. I prepared and monitored budgets, tracked expenses, and managed cash flow to maintain financial stability. My responsibilities included coordinating fundraising efforts, developing financial strategies to support house events and initiatives, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. I also presented financial reports to the house council, providing insights for informed decision-making, and collaborated with team members to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals. During my tenure, we raised awareness for several causes, including Shinerama, AIDS New Brunswick, and the Helping Hands Challenge. This role significantly enhanced my financial management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team.Most importantly I served as the Food Representative of our house. In this role, I organized events that celebrated the diverse cultures within our house. I introduced a variety of foods that represented the different backgrounds of our residents, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. Notable events included Car Smash, Club Med, and various games and activities run within the house.
