  Here are all my responsibilities as workshop technician dealing with Downhole Tools in the oil and gas industry:1. **Maintenance and Repair:** - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of downhole tools, such as bottomhole motors, Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), and other specialized tools used in oil and gas well drilling. - Diagnose failures and repair faulty components to ensure optimal functionality of the tools.2. **Assembly and Disassembly:** - Responsible for careful assembly and disassembly of downhole tools, strictly following procedures and technical specifications to avoid damage to the components.3. **Testing and Calibration:** - Conduct functionality tests and calibration to ensure that the tools meet quality and safety standards before being deployed in the field. - Perform pressure tests and other diagnostic tests as required.4. **Inventory Management:** - Manage the inventory of parts and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of downhole tools. - Ensure that spare parts and supplies are available as needed to prevent delays in operations.5. **Documentation and Reporting:** - Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and tests performed, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. - Prepare service reports detailing the work performed, issues encountered, and solutions applied.6. **Compliance with Safety Standards:** - Strictly adhere to all safety standards and operational procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. - Regularly participate in safety training and updates on industry best practices.7. **Collaboration and Technical Support:** - Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to improve operations and solve complex problems. - Provide technical support to field teams, assisting in resolving technical issues related to downhole tools during drilling operations.
