Each client gets the same attention to detail. Now, let's talk about my love for teaching. It comes naturally to me. Always knew I’d do it. When not translating, I teach English or Italian. Now, it's less frequent, but the passion is still here. I've spent years giving tailored one-on-one lessons. The joy of seeing students grow in their language skills never gets old. Pure delight. The narrative doesn't end here. No.On the writing front, I do more than simply put words on paper; I craft SEO-friendly content. English Second Language Teacher

So, you've stayed with me this far into my professional narrative - that's commitment! Let me share more about one of my most cherished roles. Public school teaching isn't for the weak. It's a delicate balance of managing classrooms, creating engaging lessons, and sticking to the Croatian National Curriculum. Yet, it brought a profound sense of accomplishment. From bright-eyed 7-year-olds to ambitious 15-year-olds, I watched many personalities grow into proficient English speakers. The mutual affection between my students and me kept my engine running. If there was one thing that I hated with passion, it was grading and setting up tests. The time I spent looking at those papers! So draining. The last year in this school was especially gratifying. So, why did I leave? My contract was ending, and a permanent role remained out of reach. Then, a job offer from a university in Kuwait came. It gave my career a new direction.Seeing my students flourish was the perfect send-off from the job I loved. It may sound like a stereotype, but the truth is that this experience was more than just a job. It was a significant chapter in my life that I fondly look back on. Show less

    • Smaragd Education Centre

      Feb 2017 - Jun 2018
English and Italian Second Language Teacher

Full-time ESL Teacher in an elementary school in the morning. Part-time English and Italian teacher at a private language school in the afternoon. That was my routine during this period. A double shift in the world of languages? Sounds exhausting, right? Teaching English was fulfilling, but there was still room for Italian, and I couldn't resist.Small groups, up to eight students, from elementary to high school. It wasn't just about words and sentences but about connection, understanding, and the joy of learning something new. Most would say that one teaching job is enough. But there's always room for more when you love what you do. It might seem clichéd, but trust me, it’s anything but. Show less
