  Student Software Engineer

  Converted prototype Python version of Live-Chart, an application which gives teachers a live display of student actions performing online coursework in the classroom, into a functioning Java version for the ASSISTments foundation. The final version combines Java code, Javascript, and HTML to interface with ASSISTments databases and provide a web server as the front end.

  WPI Human Inspired Robotics Lab

  Student Researcher

  As a master level research project, I worked in a team of three to create a point-and-click teleoperation interface for a robotic arm using the Python implementation of ROS. With the team, I performed a user study to compare the performance and user experience of the created interface with that of directly controlling the position of the end effector. With the other team members, I drafted a paper on the findings, which was submitted to the IROS 2020 conference.
