  I was elected by our membership to serve a two-year board position and successfully co-chaired the 2015 and 2016 Spring Banquets averaging 75 attendees as well as organizing multiple training, classroom instruction, policy guidance, and mentoring events throughout the year for our membership throughout the State of Utah. As part of the team I helped execute the successful 3-day Utah APCO Annual Conference for almost 300 attendees each of those years, which included several days of continuing education, Key Note presentations, vendor show, and banquet to recognize excellence in our industry.The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) is an international leader committed to providing complete public safety communications, expertise, professional development, technical assistance, advocacy, and outreach to benefit our members and the public. The Utah APCO Executive Board consists of elected leaders from several public safety answering points and 911, Police, Fire, and Medical dispatch centers. Show less
