  I was in charge for a stretch of approx. 35 kilometres out of 72 kms, i.e. Corridor II (JBS to Falaknuma), Corridor I (Nampally to LB Nagar) and Corridor III (Nagole to Begumpet). The responsibility included management of shifting of utilities affected under the metro rail alignment, maintenance of roads, footpaths and other public amenities along the metro corridors, plantation works including translocation of trees affected under metro, construction of urban rejuvenation works at the metro stations to the highest standards. Contract management of L&T Metro Rail Limited and HMRL, Corporate correspondence and aiding the standing council of HMRL in tackling the legal issues raised by certain organizations. The traders and vendors of Sultan Bazar, Hyderabad, a major market area in the centre of the city, had protested against the metro alignment. Played a pivotal role representing HMRL in the negotiation with the aforementioned traders and successfully completed the metro works. Taken up construction of police barracks costing about Rs. 36 cr in- lieu of land belonging to police department affected under metro alignment. Similarly, completed a major building called “Sainik Aaram Ghar” for the use of army personnel in lieu of defense dept land handed over to HMRL. Played a key role in negotiating with several Govt. departments such as, Defense, power companies (TSSPDCL), HMWSSB, Gandhi Hospital and other Govt. authorities whose lands were affected under metro alignment and successfully completed the metro works.
