  The internship period consisted of regular court visits where I spent maximum of my time in the trial court at the premises of District and Sessions Judge, Cuttack which enabled me to learn about all the procedures going on in a criminal trial as well as helped me hone my pleading skills. I was also assigned the task of analyzing case files relating to consumer law, criminal law, NI Act and I drafted a of bail petitions and time petitions.

  My period of internship consisted of daily court visits to the Hon’ble High Court of Orissa and the District Court of Cuttack that helped me know about the working of the court and enabled me to get first hand hearing experience of the court proceedings. I was given the opportunity of drafting of few bail petitions and various time petitions and study and do research on cases related to Family Law, Consumer Law, NI Act, etc.

  During my internship period I was actively involved in drafting various legal documents such as legal notices, list of dates and events, etc. & I was firmly engaged with research work on various ongoing cases at the firm which consisted of matters relating to Property Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, etc. which helped me hone my research skills as well as polish my grasp over the Code of Civil Procedure as well as the Code of Criminal Procedure.
