  I was a HR Intern in Ryanair’s Head Office in Dublin for my college placement. I was the HR Officer responsible for the Ryanair crew stationed at Alicante Airport, Santiago Airport, Corfu Airport and Ibiza Airport. On a daily basis I dealt with and resolved with extensive employee issues, drafted and issued contracts of employment and updated Records on HR Database.I was involved in the disciplinary process, including imposing sanctions where necessary. I also attended, chaired and took minutes at various, meetings both at home and abroad.As new starters joined the team, it was my responsibility to help with training to ensure they felt confident and fully equipped to complete their job to a high standard.   As I worked as both a marketing and HR assistant my duties were split between the two. In my marketing role I was responsible for keeping the company’s social media accounts up to date by posting job updates, posting about events we were going to attend (Facebook and LinkedIn). I also updated and maintained the company website. I also designed stationary, posters, flyers, signage and PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
