      Sales Consultant

During University I worked for Next in various locations and different roles. My main job was as a Sales Consultant which involved working on the till points around the store, customer service, replenishing stock on the shop floor and measuring customers for suits. Whilst at the store I also worked as a Stock Assistant which involved managing deliveries into the store, organising stock in the stock room and checking stock into the store. My other roles at Next was as an office assistant which involved cashing up tills, counting the cash and inputting the amounts into the computer. Whilst at the shop I was asked to help open a few other stores, train their new members of staff and supervise on the shop floor. During my time doing these trips I would help to build displays, build store furniture and support during the first few days of opening. As well as this I would help to supervise staff in their new roles and support them in serving customers. Show less

Within my role we support the eRostering system and the day to day functionality of the units on it. This includes providing training to new members of staff on Health Roster, and the systems that complement this such as Employee Online and Safe care. In addition to this we implement new departments onto the system, building their rosters up in the process, we also work with the payroll and finance departments as part of this process.I have also worked on marketing within my role to help boost our communications. This was to help promote our Phone App available to all staff. After this setting up a Twitter account to help keep roster managers informed on changes, and re introduce a newsletter to inform on changes in more detail. This role also entailed monitoring key performance indicators in order to assist in departmental improvement. We also design training documentation and packages to support the software packages within the Trust. Alongside this we offer virtual classroom sessions and 1:1 bespoke training. Show less In this role I worked as part of a busy team processing Outpatient referrals and booking appointments for patients. There were two main elements to this role. One of these elements was processing referrals for patients onto the core patient database. We would then book appointments based on consultant recommendation. These would be booked in line with refferal to treatment time frames set nationally. The other element to the role was working in the patient contact centre. We would deal with large amounts of calls daily booking in, re arranging and amending appointments. We would also escalate appointments to service managers and clinicians where appropriate. We were also the first point of contact for GPs requesting advice from the hospitals consultants. We worked with the majority of specialities accross the Trust, working with their bespoke appointment processes. Show less
