My responsibilities include attending preliminary assessment meetings with the audit manager and the other audit team members, and auditing various captions of the financial statements in line with the standards set by the firm, the accountancy governing body (ICAI) and other applicable laws and regulations.In this role, I get to discuss and understand the client's revenue model, nature and complexities of operation in the industry, unique revenue arrangements, group ownership structures and regulatory factors.I have worked on audits in trading, manufacturing, financial services and pharmaceutical industries.
