  The project investigated some of the life-history strategies that zooplankton can adopt to ensure their success in seasonal environments. I used various modelling approaches to show the relevance of daily migration and implemented a method allowing this behaviour to be included in large ecological modelling frameworks. In addition, I explored the resilience of breeding strategies as a function of the feeding season duration, a subject of high relevance in a context of species persistence under climate change threat.
