      The LOPC Program (Legal Orientation Program For Custodians of Unaccompanied Children) is a national, government-funded Legal Access Program that provides legal presentations to the custodians of unaccompanied youth in deportation proceedings regarding the Immigration Court system and legal relief available to unaccompanied youth. As the LOPC Coordinator, I oversaw on-site program operations for The Legal Orientation Program for Custodians (LOPC) in Northern California. During my time in this role, I accomplished the following: •Organized and executed weekly hour-long informational legal presentations to custodians via Zoom, in-office, and at immigration court hearings. Presented to an average of 15-35 custodians per presentation and provided legal presentations and resources to 1,000+ families over 3+ years. •Coordinated all logistics before weekly presentations, including conducting extensive outreach to scheduled families, troubleshooting time conflicts, room reservation and preparation, and timely scheduling of administrative staff to assist with family registration before presentations.•Established strong working relationships and partnerships with 10+ local and state-wide nonprofit organizations, school districts, government agencies, and legal organizations. Collaborated w/ stakeholders to identify emerging program issues + developed best practices to optimize the LOPC program.•Proactively collaborated and strategized with program management to streamline a fully remote program model during the pandemic.
