      Repositioning and improving Family Planning and reproductive health services in Huambo Province, through education and creation of a social mobilization network. Responsible for overall coordination of the project, with a budget of $ 2,000,000 USD; I organized the human, financial and physical resources as well as the coordination, planning, budget, training, capacity building plan, monitoring and evaluation, financial, and logistical system, facilitating synergy and good relationships with partners.• Responsible for representing the organization at the national and international level. • The project was implemented for 1 year but, due to the results, USAID funded the project for 6 additional months. • 100 health technicians, 14 directors of health facilities, 25 journalist and 350 community leaders were trained in health services, leadership, logistics, BCC, information, education and communication, domestic violence, family planning, food security and nutrition, human rights and quality.• 15 health facilities were also built and opened. • It was a very successful challenge, because of community mobilization in 20 churches, 10 schools, 2 universities, 5 financial institutions, government, 25 journalist, midia( TV, radio and journal) etc. • Creation of 17 youth groups, 2 university groups and 10 churches, to prevent domestic and gender violence, HIV, premature pregnancies and leadership.• Upon completion this project of Advance Africa Angola, a new national NGO was created with the work team of Advance Africa, in Angola, to continue working and exercising leadership in the government, health and community, to improve the quality of Angolan population lives.       Improving the knowledge, attitudes and practices of health technical workers of 60 sanitary units of Luanda and Huambo Provinces in Angola as well as community leaders, encouraging and supporting them to improve health services and assure their quality. • Trainer: 650 health technicians and 400 community volunteers were trained in primary health care, food security and nutrition, malaria, clinical, laboratory and pharmaceutical areas, sexual-reproductive health and quality services.• 60 health technicians were training in statistics, database, data management, statistical reports, and epi info in Huambo province• 400 technical health workers, of Luanda and Huambo provincies, were trained in quality system; quality process began in 60 health units and, 80% of medical units that participated in the process, reported improved quality of services up from 40% in 1 years and half.• 30 technical health workers were trained as trainer of trainers in health.
