  The Strategic Investments Activity is a USAID funded project under the feed the future program worth USD 19 Million over 5 years.In my role as investment analyst;1. Conduct financial analyses and market research to create a viable investment pipeline with competent and financially healthy entities, prime for investment.2. A part of the investment committee.3. Conduct investment due diligence that is site visits, financial modeling, strategy analysis, financial review and valuation for investments under consideration3. Coordinating investment support, education and awareness to investees through match making programs and symposiums, where investors and potential investees can interact and build relationships.4. Maintaining up-to-date information on the investee portfolio and providing reports as required by the client, activity and its stakeholders.5. Establish a network of capital providers and financial institutions to facilitate funding and manage relations.6. Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with the provisions of the Activity’s process flow manual.7. Participate in post investment portfolio monitoring and reporting using both financial and social metrics to provide management with business performance intelligence.8. Work with both the Monitoring Evaluation & Learning, and Grants teams in reviewing and aligning the subcontractors into submitting timely deliverables.9. Managing the relationships with the consortia subcontractors (Open Capital advisory & Crossboundary advisory) of the activity on behalf of the prime contractor.10. Provide oversite over and manage the activity's investee pipeline throughout the investment facilitation process.11.
