      As a teaching consultant I work hands on with students ranging from grades 2nd-6th grade on hands-on instruction in the science realm. My instruction has focused on topics such as sports science, oceanography, physical and chemical science, and biology. Alongside AAAS I work to promote the academic interest in science amongst young students.

      At St. Thomas More I work as the 5th through 8th Grade science teacher in subjects ranging from biology to physics. Students are met with daily to learn the hands on approach of the STEM realm. As the education specialist I work to develop teaching skills in the classroom to promote differentiated learning and other techniques for new and veteran teachers.As the lead teacher at St. Thomas More, I work alongside a middle school team of instructors that foster character through our housing system. Students are arranged in house with teachers acting as house deans to develop character and catholic faith building. These houses are based on key cardinal virtues and led by the faith of particular saints of the catholic religion. Show less

In the summer of 2015 I'll be embarking on my first international tour with 15 students from St. Thomas More Catholic Academy. We look forward to various other trips as well including a tour of London, Paris, Barcelona, and Rome in 2016.
