The project uses centrally sponsored schemes as entry points for strengthening the CBO-PRI interface. •Partnering with Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission in coordinating the convergence between Panchayat Raj (PRI) and Community based Organisation (CBO) to strengthen rural governance and to ensure participatory planning. •Leading a team 16, across 12 districts of Assam. Developing context specific modules and strategies to build the capacity of 15000 SHG networks and 162 Panchayat Raj Institutions to strengthen democratic platforms towards planning and implementation of projects for social justice and economic development.•Preparation of MoU and budgets for the project implementation and quarterly follow-up of budget status. •Create work plans and timelines for the activities to be undertaken as part of project and formulation of deliverables and indicators for project assessment. •Developed 500 active community cadre at grassroots level •Conceptualized and executed participatory planning tools aimed at increasing access to entitlements and expanding women's involvement in local governance.•Designing and rolling out of massive campaigns for preparation of demand plans from 15000 SHGs across the state of Assam.
