  During my early years(in my 20s) as a linguist, I spend 10 years dedicating myself to the profession of simultaneous interpreting, both in postgraduate studies as well as career development. The sensitive and intuitive nature of me helped me to achieve better understanding and connecting with clients in both personal meetings as well as business conventions. It was an amazing chapter that I had, and happily closed in my younger years.

  Part-time Lecturer teaching under Department of Oriental Studies at Hong Kong University Space. Course being taught since 2011:*Advanced Translation between Chinese and Japanese*Advanced Interpreting between Mandarin and Japanese*Advanced Interpreting between English and Japanese*Preparatory Japanese proficiency courseI independently designed all aspects of both courses, including the curriculum, course content and examination materials. The two courses have received extremely positive feedback from students. Each semester the courses are full and they have become the most popular courses amongst all Asian language-related courses offered by HKU Space. Show less

The sensitive nature of the work makes it a deep emotional and thoughtful connection between me and the client, taking us to the next level to reach clarity, understanding and peace.Daily counselling sessions are conducted mainly in English. Thanks to the strong background that I had in my early years working as a professional linguist, I give counselling sessions in fluent Japanese (日本語) and Chinese(中文) as well when needed. Show less
