As a mentee, I had regular conversations with Michael about a variety of topics related to the recording industry. These topics included the difference between mixing and mastering, working with artists and producers, and kick/snare drum replacements using MIDI and samples.

At the conclusion of my internship in December 2021, I was asked to stay on as a crew member and serve as a mentor to the new intern class. As an artist representative, I was responsible for finding and engaging local performing musicians on social media and through other forms of communication. I led networking efforts with 4,000+ musicians who have signed up with the FanFlex platform to drive and book shows. I acted as a liaison of the FanFlex platform to the artists, leading conversations from initial contact to pitching and teaching the free platform and its benefits.
