  Treasurer

  I started as the Treasurer for Adlai E. Stevenson’s South Asian Student Association (SASA) in May of 2023. Throughout my time, I’ve selected a committee to assist me with managing the financials of the company, and planning events from a funding perspective. I help with meetings weekly on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:30, and order supplies and food for events throughout the school year. Events include World’s Fair, Garba Night, Night Market, Holi Night, and many more.

  Tax Intern

  I started as an intern at Jackson Hewitt in Mundelein, Illinois in November of 2022. I learned to use many platforms such as different IRS databases, and input dozens of customers income and employment information into it. I also incorporated known platforms such as Excel and Sheets for scheduling and managing customer’s profiles. Most importantly, I examined various W-2 forms and different income statements and held interviews to submit tax statements back to the IRS.

  Volunteer

  Samaritans is a charity dedicated to that provides lifesaving suicide prevention services 24/7. The services are free and Samaritans is connected with the National Suicide Hotline.
