      Research Interests:- Organometallic chemistry: Design, synthesis and study of metal organic complexes for gas separation, small-molecule sensing, and catalytic transformations. - Analytical techniques: Characterization of organic, inorganic, and organometallic complexes via NMR, FT-IR, Raman, Fluorescence spectroscopy, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, column chromatography, and XRD.As a Graduate Research Assistant, I have experience in:1. Analysis of experimental data to generate written and oral reports for supervisors. 4. Management and maintenance of laboratory instruments, chemical inventory, EH&S protocols, regulatory requirements, and documentation, and lab safety.5. Responsibility for daily operations in the laboratory including implementation of additional safety measures during COVID-19, and training and mentoring 2 high school Welch scholars and 1 graduate student. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I have experience in:1. Organizing and supervising laboratory class for general chemistry I, general chemistry II, and second-year advanced chemical techniques (ACT), with class sizes ranging from 45-75 students a semester.2. Effectively communicating with students via oral presentations, written emails, and grading feedback.3. Generating assignments (quizzes, student surveys, oral and poster presentations), grading the assignments, and posting grades with feedback in a timely manner.4. Ordering and maintaining inventory of chemicals, glassware, and equipment necessary for the lab, and individual student projects (ACT lab).5. Spending extra time outside of lab with students to mentor them with difficult concepts, research student project topics, plan synthesis and analysis to be done, and help analyze student data.6.
