  I was responsible for teaching English language & literature to male Sudanese secondary school students. During the academic year 1985/ 1986, I was appointed as Head of English at the school. My duties included coordinating the activities of fellow teachers, reporting on progress to the school administration, preparing assessment examinations, and liaising with members of staff at Karima Higher Secondary School for Boys.

  As an English Language Instructor at the Center for Health Studies, I was responsible for teaching beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate, and advanced level groups of both civilian & military hospital trainees and employees. From October 1991 to March 1992, I was responsible for coordinating the English training for a group of 220 Saudi trainee paramedics. This involved the preparation & implementation of a suitable curriculum, production of study materials, administration of periodic assessment tests, and liaison with the Department of Nursing Studies. I was also involved in syllabus design, student counselling, trainee assessment, and various administrative duties at the Center.
