  Acting as a graduate civil engineer under CORMAC’s engineering structures office. £1.5million of funding into Cornwall Council’s environment scheme has resulted in a series of small-scale projects involving the restoration of public highways and structures to maintain Public Rights of Way.• Key responsibilities include: -Carrying out site investigations to assess structures and landscapes as well as recording the necessary photos and measurements. -Producing site inspection reports with remediation proposals and cost-estimates. -Developing Short Duration Project Management Plans to detail the construction methodology and assessing the associated health and safety implications. -Attending meetings with CORMAC’s contracting team to convey the project requirements and deliverables. Conversant with layering robust project management controls through delivery covering RAID management, exception management and change control. Proven experience in responding to and owning pre-sales opportunities, creating Statements of Work and cost models for 30+ PMO and Professional Services project totalling in excess of £2mil+ of revenue while also contributing to larger scale multi-million-pound opportunities. Show less As part of Computacenter's Project Practice Graduate Scheme, my role involved 6 months of rotations to gain a solid grounding of all aspects of the business. This is followed by 12 months of working in various project-based roles designed to stretch and prepare me for my elevation to Project Manager at the conclusion of my graduate scheme. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from a number of varying IT projects including: a hardware refresh for one of the UK's largest retail network, a Windows 10 hardware roll-out for a national government organisation and working on a Project & Portfolio Office as part of a managed service for an international government organisation running a series of small to medium projects. My roles have varied from Deployment Coordinator, Deployment Manager and Project Manager. I have been able gain experience from large, multi-million pound projects, as well as managing smaller budget projects end to end. During this time, I have been able to learn and implement appropriate project management techniques, accurate cost tracking, manage small workstreams from a larger portfolio and supervise small teams of technical resource; all the time I have gradually increased my responsibility through the programme.
