  As the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, I administered the local 141 program at location Y18S for the national program JM8S247Q, answering to the Chief Pilot in Chicago, Dave Menconi. I conducted final Achievement-Performance Reviews, standardized and directed our staff of instructors, and organized and audited student 141 records. As a Flight and Ground Instructor, I instructed under part 141 and 61 in C-172, C-172RG, and various customer-owned aircraft including BE-23 & 24R, C-182 & 210, DA 20 & 40, PA-28, 28R & 32, NA-AA5, SR-22 and LC-42-350. I regularly conducted the 3-day preparation classes for FAA Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI-A and FOI knowledge tests and the Flight Instructor Revalidation Clinic. I also Instructed extensively in Frasca 131 and 141 training devices. Show less

  I instruct under part 141 and 61 in various makes and models of airplanes by Cessna, Piper, Diamond, and Cirrus, as well as the MOTUS level 3 flight training device and REMOS light sport aircraft. I developed the curriculum and training materials for the five-day instrument written test preparation ground school I conduct. I also co-ordinate SEVIS (I-20) applications for M-1 visas for international students and act as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) for the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs. I'm proud to provide ground and flight training under contract to FAA Inspectors in the use of Technically Advanced Aircraft, with emphasis on the G1000 platform. Show less

We're expanding our operation and I'm playing a big role in the creation of an Ab Initio flight training program for pilots who have the goal of flying passenger-carrying jets in airline operations, but may not have completed (or even started) their flight training yet.
