  Structural Test Instrumentation Engineer

  Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot full-scale fatigue test article data acquisition system and export data from fatigue cycling to internal customer. Interface with internal customers and consult with suppliers to determine instrumentation and data acquisition system requirements for unique tests on aircraft components. Process and evaluate burn lab data based on regulatory success criteria and distribute results to internal customer. Develop and update work methods for utilization of data acquisition and control systems with the intention of increasing efficiency, eliminating single points of failure, and improving new hire onboarding. Experience utilizing HBM data acquisition system (MGC and QuantumX with Catman Enterprise software) with various instrumentation, including load cells, strain gauges, displacement transducers, thermocouples, etc. Notable Projects: Worked with internal customers to complete high-frequency hydraulic pulsation damper testing on iron bird mockup utilizing an atypical data acquisition system setup. Performed out-of-tolerance forward outboard spar testing consisting of traveling to supplier location with necessary hardware and technicians to setup and complete testing on least compliant spar.
