I worked at the front desk at Hawkins Hall Dormitory. I talked with students, parents, and others visiting the dorm and helped them with any questions they had. I also sorted students mail and answered the phones in the front office area. I was also responsible for money transactions with students.

      Jul 2017 - Aug 2017
      Logistics Team Intern

Through the Purdue Study Abroad program, I was able to travel to South Korea and be a part of the Logistics team at Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. I learned about how they handle the logistics for their shipments to their worksites all over the world. I got to experience firsthand a different culture's work environment and see what it was like to be a part of a massive company. I did a lot of studying from my mentor and I observed how each person on the team handled their individual tasks.

Continuing my work as a Data Manager but now I am responsible for multiple projects on my own and I do not have a mentor to help guide me. I am now in charge of creating my own codes in SAS for my multiple projects, communicating with researchers on my own, and taking steps to continually grow in my position and learn new skills. Continuing my work as a Data Manager but with more responsibilities and in a more individual role regarding my projects. This could be in the form of creating my own codes in SAS, communicating on a more individual level with researchers regarding requests and questions, and taking steps to move up to the next level of Data Management within the department. Create and manage databases for clinical research trials. Use SAS and other programs to generate reports, create datasets for analysis, and clean the data.
