      My roles in this position include project management, business analysis and process improvement, management of the application development team, development, and system administration. Project Management/Business Analysis: The majority of my time is spent leading campus-wide projects, with the most common type of project being to refine major business processes. I lead teams consisting of stakeholders from across campus (generally ranging from 5 to 25 members and spanning anywhere from 2 months to 3 years). These projects generally start with mapping out existing business processes to realize areas for improvement before gathering full specifications and process flow needed in a new system. These teams work closely with developers as the system is built, providing feedback, participating in testing, and often participating in beta releases. Communication is critical throughout every phase of projects I lead, including communication within the team, to leadership, and to the campus at large. Application Development Team Manager: This team of five oversees many critical campus systems and builds major processes on our business process management platform. I work to create an environment of trust, communication, collaboration, and accountability through regular team meetings, one-on-ones, partner projects, and an open environment where constructive feedback on areas for improvement is welcomed and encouraged.       Board Director (volunteer position)

      Within my 5 years as an SHS board director, I was board secretary for 2 years and board vice president for 1 year. The board itself is the governing body for SHS. The secretary is responsible for all board communications, managing organization by-laws, and coordinating committee memberships and annual elections among other duties. The VP leads board recruitment efforts and fills in for the president as needed.
