  A member of the Sabbatical Officer team at Warwick SU, holding the portfolio for Finance and Commercial Services, elected in a cross-campus ballot. Key achievements include:- Planning and executing a successful campaign to become one of the seven elected student representatives, collecting more votes than my two opponents combined.- Creation of a revitalised entertainments programme for the new academic year.- Involvement in the campaign on funding for Higher Education, including local and national events.- Expansion and formalisation of the SU 2nd Hand Book Sale Scheme at the beginning of the academic year. (Turnover circa. £40k)- Overview of a wide range of commercial operations including a nightclub, cocktail bar, bistro restaurant, campus pub, baguette bar and tea shop.- Involvement in the planning and execution of a series of end of year summer events, including at 1,200 capacity formal Graduation Dinner, 4,000 capacity Summer Festival and 900 capacity Sports Ball.- Involvement in the construction of a new organisation three year strategic plan.- Financial scrutiny and support for student-run events including One World Week, the largest international student festival in the world.- Review and updating of the organisation’s Finance regulations and procedures.- Operational role in two highly successful Freshers Periods, organising two weeks worth of events for 5,000 new students, with a small team of supervisors and 250 volunteers.   Responsible for the implementation of a £25m buildings programme across Warwick Business School including new-build and refurbishment projects. The largest project within the programme is a 5-floor extension to the Business School, effectively doubling the size of the building and adding a mix of office accommodation, student study and social spaces, two major new lecture theatres and other specialist facilities.

Responsibility for the University’s Summer Moves programme, with a current focus on process improvement via the Simplify Collaborate Deliver framework. Tasked with the design and rapid implementation of a significant series of developments to two of the University’s highest-profile events, delivering exceptional student experience whilst ensuring compliance with statutory and institutional requirements and optimising resource utilisation.
