Lab work consisted of sectioning brain tissues with a vibratome, mounting slides, pipetting solutions, processing images, charting data in Microsoft Excel, and analyzing results.   - Selected as one of approximately 1,000 high school students (10% acceptance rate) to join the NYAS’s Junior Academy, a global community of students dedicated to solving challenges through team-based project work.- Awarded a finalist for the COVID-19 vaccine distribution challenge which included generating a 3D rendering of a microneedle vaccine patch- Collaborated with international teammates and STEM professionals to create a telemedicine application for dementia patients to solve the Healthcare on Demand: The Future of Telemedicine challenge.
