      Manage maintenance operations in three different locations. These operations consist of a HMMWV Refurbishment center, Light Equipment Service center along with the Camp Arifjan Army Material Command Maintenance facility. Produce the organizational structure and developed a diversified organization with a multicultural workforce of more than 1500 employees.Manage the Class IX repair parts operations for all maintenance facilities in Kuwait. This Supply Support Activity is accountable for 50,000 lines of repair parts. Staffed with a multicultural workforce, these activities process more than 20,000 requisitions monthly.Write Technical/Management Narratives for proposals that are submitted to the Government. These proposals cover detailed facilities, maintenance, manning and other costs for multimillion dollar Government contractsManaged and administer the readiness of two US Army Brigade Sets of equipment. Maintained operational readiness rates greater than 90% for a Heavy Brigade Combat Team and Infantry Brigade Combat Team set of Prepositioned Army Material Command equipment. Developed and executed work instructions and standardization procedures for ISO 9001:2000 certification. Write Technical/Management proposal narratives for US Government contracts. Proposals that I have authored cover detailed vehicle maintenance, manning and other costs for multimillion dollar US Government contracts.Manage and improve the Class IX supply operations that support sustainment maintenance operations in Kuwait. Staffed with a multicultural workforce, the Operational Stock Activity is accountable for more than 50,000 lines of repair parts and maintains 98% inventory accuracy.       Provides the Program Manager Self Propelled Howitzer System leadership with coordination, management, tracking and status reporting for DoD 5000.002 and Army Acquisition documents. These documents are requirements for acquisition program milestone events and decision points to demonstrate compliance with statutory and regulatory laws and policies. This provides the program management leadership with a capability for mitigating risks to schedule, performance and cost as the program moves forward thru development, technology maturation, initial operational capability and full rate production.Expedite inquiries, write executive summaries (EXSUMs), write information papers, prepare briefings and relay instructions and information to/from the appropriate PEO staff (Milestone Review Program), HQDA staff agencies, Army Commands (ACOMs), Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs) and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs) through their respective HQDA staff agencies. Increase program efficiency by providing coordination among SME’s and document authors, ASA (ALT) and OSD stakeholders. Monitors documents as they are developed to ensure that they meet the current guidance/policy from ASA (ALT) and OSD as new templates and instructions become effective. Reduce staffing timelines for PEO, ASA (ALT) and OSD through advance coordination and organization of comment resolution with SME’s and document authors.Provides real time updates to the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project, Armored Fighting Vehicle Portal, Digital Smart book. Track and identify location and status of sensitive items, vehicles and consumable materiel.Provide subject matter expertise for Logistics Automation and Maintenance activities in support of a Lean Six Sigma Team and a Regional Support Activity Assistance Team. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to TACOM and DLA for assignment of Weapons System Codes to MRAP and RCV platforms. Participate in weekly teleconferences that result in procurement and expedited delivery of repair parts associated with critical MRAP and RCV systems and sub-systems. Provide demand analysis for repair parts used for life cycle sustainment of the MRAP and RCV platforms.Supervise the PM MRAP executive assistants for Kuwait and Afghanistan who manage and coordinate all of the activities for the US Government Country Leads. Supervise Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) activities that provide technical evaluations of MRAP equipment located throughout Afghanistan. This activity provides professional quality assessments of the completed welds as well as input on systemic engineering failure analysis for MRAP vehicles. These Inspections identify systemic issues, trends and failures associated with the maintenance/repair process in PM MRAP managed facilities as well as Service managed facilities throughout Afghanistan and Kuwait. Supervise a team of Quality Assurance (QA) inspectors at the MRAP Sustainment Facility in Kuwait. These inspectors provide final quality inspections of the completed vehicles at the MRAP Sustainment Facility. These Inspectors identify systemic issues, trends and failures associated with the maintenance process. Show less
