      Serve as the Branch Chief, Law Enforcement Range and Armory Operations with the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Training Division (TD). Supervise staff of seven firearms instructors, two armorers, and two Team Leads. Presently overseeing all Firearms Range operations for approximately 800 personnel and for ensuring the safe operation of the firearms range. Responsible for accountability of all PFPA weapons and ammunition and conducts all required inventories as directed. Responsible for writing all contracting paperwork for the procurement of all agency weapons and ammunition. Serve as the on-site faculty advisor responsible for multiple programs of law enforcement instruction, including counseling and evaluating students, serving as a liaison to agencies presenting training, and orienting classes with program requirements and established policies. Responsible for developing and writing Firearms Range Standard Operating Procedures and assist in drafting proposed Agency-wide policies to ensure Range Operations are in accordance with all DoD, OSHA and Agency standards. Participate with senior management officials in the formulation and development of new policies and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with established learning objectives and to meet the needs of students and provide advice on proper courses of action. Act as subject matter expert for all issues relating to firearms training, firearms and ammunition and advise Training Directorate Leadership on these matters. Serves as a liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement organizations in the interest of creating mutually advantageous relations in matters of police training. Serves as the primary custodian for all PFPA weapon systems located at all PFPA-approved armories throughout the National Capital Region.
